Kendamil Classic Ready to Feed Stage 3 Instructions
Wash your hands and sterilise the feeding bottle and teat as you normally would. The milk inside the bottle is already sterile; the bottle you pour it into is not.
Check the best-before date and shake the bottle well. Whole milk fat can settle while the bottle sits on the shelf, and a good shake brings it back.
Pour the amount your baby needs into the sterilised feeding bottle. Serve at room temperature, or warm it by standing the feeding bottle in warm water or a bottle warmer. Never use a microwave; it heats unevenly.
Test a drop on the inside of your wrist before feeding. Use a poured feed within two hours, or within one hour of your baby starting it, then discard what is left. Cap the opened bottle, refrigerate it and use it within 24 hours.
Kendamil Classic Ready to Feed Stage 3 Storage
- Unopened bottles are shelf-stable. Keep them somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight, and go by the best-before date printed on each bottle.
- Once opened, cap the bottle, refrigerate it and use it within 24 hours.
- Do not freeze ready-to-feed milk, and do not reuse milk your baby has left in the feeding bottle.
- Ready-to-feed milk is complete as poured. Do not dilute it with water or add anything to it.
- Do not prepare feeds in advance. Pour at feeding time, and use a poured feed within 1 hour of your baby starting it.
- Any milk left in the feeding bottle after a feed must be discarded and not reused.
- Warm bottles in warm water or a bottle warmer, never in a microwave, and always test the temperature on your wrist first.
- Unopened bottles should not be used after the best-before date printed by the manufacturer. Once opened, use within 24 hours from the fridge.

What Is Kendamil Classic Ready to Feed Stage 3?
Kendamil toddler milk ready to drink is exactly what it sounds like: a toddler milk drink that is already mixed, sterilized and sealed, meant for children between 12 and 36 months as part of a varied diet.
Two things to be clear about first. This is not an infant formula, and it is not suitable for babies under 12 months. It is also not a meal replacement. Your toddler still needs proper meals and snacks every day; the milk sits alongside food, not instead of it.
Kendamil added the toddler bottle in June 2026, packed in sixes in the UK. We sell it in bundles of 6, 18, 36 and 72 on the Kendamil Ready to Feed collection.
The recipe is the Classic Stage 3 tin, already made up with water. That is not marketing shorthand; it holds on every row of the label within rounding, which we get into below.
If your family used Kendamil Classic Ready to Feed Stage 2, this is the natural next step at the first birthday. For home use, the tin lives in our Kendamil Stage 3 range. Most families end up with both: powder in the kitchen, a bottle in the bag.
Toddler Milk or Whole Cow’s Milk: Does Your Child Need It?
From 12 months, plain whole cow’s milk is a perfectly good main drink. The NHS says so, and most pediatric bodies do too. Toddler milk is optional.
So why do parents keep buying it? Because in some households it genuinely helps. A very picky eater. A toddler who was slow to take to solids. A bedtime bottle that has become part of the routine. Small daily gaps in iron and vitamin D that food is not quite closing yet.
That is where Kendamil Stage 3 Ready to Feed earns its place rather than just taking up space in the cupboard. It matches cow’s milk on calcium, 121mg per 100ml against roughly 120mg, so you are not trading calcium away for the extras. Then it adds iron, vitamin D, and DHA on top.
The protein figure is the one worth understanding. At 1.8g per 100 ml, it carries about half what cow’s milk does. That sounds like a downgrade until you remember that toddlers usually get plenty of protein from actual food, and a protein-heavy drink fills a small stomach fast. Lower protein leaves more room for dinner.

What’s in the Classic Toddler Bottle?
The ingredient list reads short, which is the point. Whole milk first, then water, skimmed milk and lactose. The fats come from sunflower, rapeseed and coconut oil.
Every Kendamil Ready to Drink toddler milk 200ml bottle carries prebiotics: 0.21g GOS, 0.02g FOS and 0.108g galactosyllactose. There are 2.7mg of nucleotides and 8.5mg of algal DHA, which is why the drink stays vegetarian.
Because it is a sealed liquid rather than a powder, it needs a few things a tin does not: extra water, citric acid as an acidity regulator, and sunflower lecithin as an emulsifier. That is the whole difference in the ingredient list.
The numbers line up almost exactly with the tin. The liquid has 65 kcal per 100ml, compared with the powder’s 64. DHA is 8.5mg against 8.8mg. Calcium, iron, and protein match. In other words, a toddler already drinking the Classic Stage 3 tin at home can take the bottle on a trip without anything actually changing in their cup.
Classic or Organic Toddler Bottle: Calcium or DHA?
If you want calcium, choose the Classic. Kendamil Classic Ready to Feed Stage 3 contains 121mg per 100ml, matching cow’s milk, and it includes nucleotides that the organic bottle does not list.
If you would rather have more DHA and vitamin D, or organic certification matters to you, look at Kendamil Organic Ready to Feed Stage 3. It carries 13.7mg DHA and 1.4 µg vitamin D, roughly double the Classic on both, but less calcium at 74mg and slightly less protein at 1.6g.

How Should You Serve It: Cup, Cold or Warm?
Serving Kendamil toddler milk bottles takes about ten seconds, but a few habits are worth getting right:
- Know the serving size. One 200ml bottle is one serving. Most toddlers do well on one or two a day, which keeps total daily milk in the 300 to 500ml range. More than that tends to crowd out food.
- Use a real cup. An open cup or a free-flow cup is much better for teeth than a bottle teat, and by this age it is the skill you want anyway. If a bedtime bottle is part of the routine, brush teeth afterward.
- Pick the temperature your child likes. Straight from the fridge is fine. Room temperature works too, or you can gently warm it by standing the bottle in warm water. Never use the microwave, because it heats unevenly and hot spots can cause serious burns.
- Store it safely. Shake before pouring, since whole milk fat settles on the shelf. Put an opened bottle in the fridge and use it within 24 hours.
